Logos is home

Logos is home!! Let’s get him settled back in… [written on Dani]
.. ~7:40pm.

floppy drive failure, which I’ll need to figure out, but that’s certainly acceptable for now… chkdsk running on a few drives… at first the monitors wouldn’t display.. which worried me… but seems fine now… the fans both work properly, including full control of speed on the one in back — this was NOT the case before.. windows finished checking disk “please wait while your computer restarts” ::waiting:: can’t have dinner until after all this… oh-oh. dskchk is running again… wait… glimmer of hope…. hourglass…. start bar!J!?@$?$ ….frozen… had to restart again, twice… seeing chkdsk more than I’d like… fully booted now. autorepair and other diagnoses running. my tummy wants food in it. (so far good!! so excited/hopeful! goes downstairs to get food) Oh LOGOS you’re SO PRETTY! ::in awe of Logos::

… 8:40pm~ rotisserie chicken’s heating in the toaster oven. still on Dani. Letting Logos settle in a bit. besides, all the tv shows are on Dani right now..
Logos is so big and bright… (not that you’re not lovely, Danium…) and it’s so comforting having both of them (relatively) well and sound.

The real kicker is the ridiculous story of what was actually wrong with Logos/how it was solved. horribly embarrassing. I’m not sure I can discuss it publicly.

Meanwhile, going to fetch my chicken and kick back with a bunch of tv shows. MUCH MUCH to do in the way of work/life soon, but for now, I’m taking an eve off!

… ALSO,
I now know of an awesome computer place (for repair and parts. with good people (hi Derek W.!), AND an awesome fabrics/crafts store where I got buttons!! it’s a magical place! and I can bugy buttons! and I now have good buttons for my favorite jeans that broke (two back buttoned pockets) last year and I haven’t been wearing them cuz the pocket flaps flap up without buttons to pull them down and I’ve been sad but now I have good buttons and I will sew them and be happy and yay!!!
