"He who forgets, will be destined to remember..."

Things don’t get solved for nothing and things don’t get better from sitting around. She’s got new things in her mind and he’s got more pain in his eyes.

Pictures come back with a floating mind; remember everything that wasn’t right; and he’s got more fear than anyone and she lost control all at once.

The lights came on late last night; I knew what I should tell all of you—
But things disappear when your thoughts are full and nothing’s there when my mouth moves;

Nothing’s going to get better until you pick up and start. Images don’t create themselves, but everything falls apart. Nothing’s going to get better until you pick up and start. Songs don’t create themselves but everything falls apart.

Everything in the world reminds me … Everything in the world will remind me …

All words mean less, the more you hear—nothing goes away with more time. You’ve got new things in your life, and I’ve got more pain in my eyes.

Pictures flash bright almost all the time—there is no way to make it right. You’ve got more fear than anyone and I lost control all at once.

The lights came on late last night—I knew what words I should say to you. But there’s no point in explaining to you cuz none of these thoughts are new.

These are lyrics by Le Chevre, from 'Everything Reminds Me'. This was posted at 02:17 AM on 30 May 2005 .
