"He who forgets, will be destined to remember..."

The Good Luck Joes - Much Too Young

When I come home, see me? I don’t.
I have so much to say, but I’ve got no time to tell you..
Please don’t turn me away, ‘cause I won’t.

Remembering when we’d sit alone in silent springtime, Creed on, and you said, It’s all we’ve got, for all we’ve got, for all we’ve got..
And then I walked you home and kissed your hand with the slightest of intentions, but I’m much too young to love that way.

And now you lie in bed and we cry.

You had so much to give, and there was so much we needed.
You can’t just fade away, ‘cause I won’t.

Recalling when the snow would rest upon your tiny rooftop, and we all would join together to forget about the pain, and now I try to think of other ways to keep my mind off dying, but I’m much too young to live that way.

When in the scattered wreckage, there is a silver lining.
A voice inside my head says I shall overcome.

And ending in a stalemate never was my forte, but it’s yours for the taking if you’re the better part of me.
And if I make it through another day, I’ll concentrate on changing ‘cause I’m much too young, I’m much too young, much too young…. to stay this way.
