Inconveniently cancelled TV shows

slated in stuff at 8:18 pm

shows that either shouldn’t have been cancelled, or should have at least released the remaining scripts explaining how the story continues/what happens to the characters:

Girls Club (FOX) – two episodes and you think it’s time to cancel? try moving it to a decent time slot. both episodes were good, and they had much potential to get even better. and the girls were hot. it wouldn’t have failed, given the chance. maybe give it a less audience-gender-defining name, too. i was so displeased about the cancellation of this one.

The Mountain (WB) – not a great show, and yes a little embarrassing to mention, but i came into it in the middle one day and despite the bad acting and soap opera style, it was fun to watch. now i don’t know what happens to them.

Dark Angel (FOX) – i never watched it at the time because it was not a great show, but recently was talked into watching quite a few of the episodes, and i certainly enjoyed watching them. ended after two seasons…the final episode is one of the most disappointing i’ve ever seen. NONE of the show’s questions were answered. what the heck is the breeding cult? where is sandeman? what does her perfect dna structure mean? what about the cure for him? what happens with alex? ugh!

La Femme Nikita (USA) – at least it had an encore half season (season 5, yes? that’s pretty good life. but i recall there was still frustrated fans about its cancellation). does anyone remember it? i’m pretty sure Alias was 90% based on this show.

it’s not about great acting/producing/cinematography.. it’s about the story that gets introduced and then is left completely unfinished.

added:
oh, one show that really did deserve to be cancelled was Birds of Prey (WB) – what a bad bad show.—which was painfully disappointing because the idea of a a show/movie about batman and catwoman’s daughter and a mature batgirl, etc. is a potentially very fun show. but it was sooo bad. so sad.

actually, the Smallville idea is also awesome, but not a good show. but Lana is nice to look at and Lex is awesome. saving graces.
