"Everything counts a little more than we think..."

slated in ridiculi, memories at 10:55 pm

J: You walk fast for a girl with little legs. (says the woman who’s probably six feet tall)
me: I had to learn to keep from being trampled in middle school.
J: Hahaha
me: … It wasn’t funny at the time…

I do tend to walk faster than average. And it was funny today. But once upon a time, the trampling in middle school wasn’t funny, and it was more like being shouldered into brick hall walls, where I had been used to outdoor, wall-less hallways and apparently super-courteous fellow students.
