Firefox and Thunderbird extensions, Fall of 2006
slated in consumed at 4:19 pm
I guess this is now a periodic thing I do… It’s thoroughly useful every time I end up having to reinstall or something goes wrong with the app or I want to recommend some extensions to friends.
So here, my current list of Firefox web browser and Thunderbird email client extensions:
Firefox, version 1.5.0.6
- All-In-One Sidebar
- CustomizeGoogle
- DOM Inspector (I don’t think I’ve really used this)
- Download Statusbar
- Fasterfox
- Google Notebook (Haven’t used this at all yet)
- Google Web Accelerator
- IE Tab (I just got this.. haven’t used it yet but I’m sure I’ll love the functionality)
- IE View (This became necessary.. for some reason, anything I would try to load directly in IE addressbar would instead load in Firefox (default browser). Very annoying when, on the rare occasion, you actually want to view the bloody thing in IE.)
- Image-Show-Hide (I don’t really use this)
- McAfee SiteAdvisor
- Mouse Gestures
- Remove It Permanently (I’m not sure I use this, but it would certainly have its usefulness)
- Resurrect Pages (I don’t recall installing this… it’s prolly good but I don’t know yet)
- Skype Plugin for Firefox (Yeah, I’ve never used this)
- Stylish (This was recommended to me, but I’ve not used it yet)
- Tab Mix Plus
- Talkback (default)
- Web Developer (default)
Thunderbird, version 1.5.0.5
- Talkback (default )
- GMailUI
- Linky
- Contacts Sidebar
- CuteMenus – Crystal SVG
- MagicSLR
- Buttons!
- Mouse Gestures
- Remove Duplicate Messages
- Evernote Web Clipper
- SwitchProxy Tool (unused)
If you don't have one (and would like one), get a Gravatar.
