Messy things begin with M

Well-known truth that some of the very worst things you can do to a relationship include: moving, buying a new house, rennovating, building, etc..

But….

Well, lady books move with moving company… big house: 4-5 bedrooms, expensiveish stuff. she manages most of the coordination and arrangments with moving company.. she has newborn baby always on her arm. move is scheduled for a month later, to take place across three days: pack one day, finish packing and move everything out the next day, and a few days later will move everything into the new house.

well, that last day doesn’t work out properly. movers (two trucks, 6ish moving guys) apparently don’t make it out there. she’s staying in a hotel with her baby.. so the movers were unable to get ahold of her and couldn’t confirm the move so didn’t drive the 2-3 hours out there. she calls some 12-20 times that day… her baby in her arm. anyway, recoordination to do the move the following day. movers are apparently late getting out there… she has to drive all the way out there also from her hotel… it rains.. baby in arm… she’s not happy…. she declares that this is one of the worst experiences she’s ever had.

does it strike you at all that anything may be missing from this story?

the explanation comes: on the day that the movers arrived to pack and move her items out of her home, the lady’s husband told he wants a divorce. ....
when the movers called to confirm the third part of the move into the new house, they were only able to reach the husband. the husband told them, “uhh, why are you calling me?”

newborn baby on her arm, a full move to complete on her own…
could it have been much more a worse time to abandon your wife? no wonder that this may be the very worst experience she’s/d ever have.

incredibly, dumbfoundedly, quietly horrifying. Men.
