slated in mood at 2:29 am

Missing a Decemberists concert tonight. Apparently sold out. I really dislike letting good tickets/events go to waste. But I’m still in notable pain and there’s a certain website that deserves my attention at the moment… Actually a lot of things going on in the last few days and today. And… <del /> never mind right now.
I’m going to get some more food in my stomach, and back to work.

I still haven’t picked up halloween candy. That’s not good.

FINE. I won’t get back into bed for just a few hours. Even though it’s a nice bed and…
fine. The plan was to sleep at a reasonable hour (didn’t happen tonight… stayed up to be productive and to peel a pomelo,) get up early (this did happen) check one or two things at my comp (turned into very looong things) and hop back into bed for a bit.

This is very much a non-story:
Lots of dreaming, story format, some fantastical pieces but largely realistic and true-lifelike.
I don’t remember them — I rolled over and started thinking too soon.

Happy Birthday Lor o^_^o

slated in days at 10:08 pm

Happy birthday Lor. I’m pretty sure this is the only one of your birthdays in 18 years that I’m not with you for. That.. is kinda sad. But I’m glad you’re where you want to be; I’m proud of you for choosing where you wanted to be and doing what it took to get there. And while I really really like having orange juice in the fridge all the time, I’ll be happy to share it with you when you’re home for Thanksgiving. I love you very much. Happy 21st birthday, Lor.

The Nine

slated in mood, consumed at 3:36 am

I meant to watch Studio 60 (great show); I’m not sure why I ended up watching The Nine instead.
Actually quite a good show.. sort of like Prison Break only… much more accessible and more personal, and less intense in the any-moment-now- someone-might-get-knifed -or-shot -or-lose-a-hand -or-otherwise-die.

It’s about bonds. The bonds you form with other individuals, and how they transcend everything.

Awesomest curl ever

slated in moments at 5:55 pm

My hair is doing this incredibly awesome curl thing right now.
Having just gotten out of bed and looked in the mirror, there is a an especially interesting lock of my hair that’s doing an incredibly awesome curl across the left (my left) side of my forehead and down. It’s the most awesome curl ever. It couldn’t be more awesome if it tried.

I thought about taking a picture of it (it is that cool) but I’m going to eat buttered toast instead.

P.S. Firefox 2.0 is avail.
P.P.S. Where are my socks?
