A married couple in their early 60s was out celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant .
Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table and said, “For being such an exemplary married couple, and for being faithful to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish.”

just started watching the show ReGenesis, since it’s been so highly recommended....
and… hahahaha…. they’re dealing with this…(LOL…seriously) avian flu epidemic or something…(sorry…that’s really not the funny part) where the chickens have been infected and they’re not sure how far it spreads…

My firefly friend

Was on a walk around lake..
Scooped up a firefly from the air with my open palm..
Let him crawl to the my knuckles, and held my palm open with my fingers lightly closed… just let him ride as I walked.
For the rest of the walk, a bit over one and quarter miles, he rode on my hand. It drizzled a little bit.. My hand tickled.. He moved around a bit, but every time I looked, he was still there.
Had to shoo him off into the air when I got home before stepping inside…
But I appreciated the company.

You know, we’re a little different from when we first/most knew each other. A little strange if you think about it…. There’s a photo of us somewhere, holding hands on a beach.. Is that really us? I barely recognized you in a recently-taken photo.. But you are Toby, whether I know you anymore or not. No matter how people change, I guess…everyone’s a myriad of interpretations anyway..
Sorry to go nonsensical-muse-y on a simply-intended birthday wish!
