TRv2 progress sheet

• 10/12/2006, 10:56pm — Rough but all basic html and css complete for main/front page. Shower now. More progress tomorrow.
• 10/13/2006, 12:46am — Yuck. I’ll fix it for IE in the morning.
• 10/13/2006, 8:34am — Okay. I really have to table polishing and just focus on building the main framework.
• 10/13/2006, 1:15pm — Alright. I did some fixes for IE, but the rest are going to wait. Boo to IE. Just boo.
• 10/14/2006, 12:52pm — Worked on single article page most of yesterday and finished that up (comments and all) this morning. Have just laid ground on the list (multiple articles) page.
• 10/14/2006, 10:04pm — I thought I had one more page to do, but it turns out I have two: sample Archive page and sample Help page. Completed: List page, Single article page, About page, Main page.
• 10/14/2006, 11:00pm — Alright. I’m finishing those two pages tomorrow. (I’m about a third through the Help page.) 11:40pm — did a bit more polishing, some good simple improvements. back tomorrow.
• 10/16/2006, 12:43pm — FINISHED all the base html and css. Had half of the last (archive) page to go this morning… just finished that. I’ll clean up the css a little bit (could use quite a bit of cleaning, but it’s quite tight so I’ll deal more with neatening later..) and then .. well, I really want to start putting it to Textpattern, but quite a few other things I have to take care of today. :-/ I guess I’ll give this a rest for an hour or two.
• 10/21/2006, 10:05pm — in the last several days, have finished translating all the pages into Textpattern. not complete though. some fuctions don’t yet actually exist for implementation of features to be possible. with some help though (thank goodness for good people), all is possible. ::scrambling to get it done::
• 10/26/2006, 10:59am — trying to get archives to be happy.. There are some essential plugins that need revamping before the site will really work happily. Plan to move the TRv2 site into its permanent home at textpattern.org by this Monday. Finally posted a short announcement on the site itself, so now I’m really bound by word and this is really getting done no matter what.
• 10/31/2006, 8:25am — k, so I half died this weekend so Monday didn’t happen which I’m pretty sore about. but it’s getting there…. rvm_if is beautiful, search function is working well, Ruud figured out txp:comments_count, there are unhappy charset issues between the old 1.0rc1 and new 4.0.4 which Ruud is working on; to work on charset conversion and be able to make lasting changes to the articles and perhaps get to write some new ones, current site has been closed of editing and addition of new articles, but the site’s still up so that people can use it. editing will reopen when new TRv2 opens. comments are working.. must format d-archive pages.. figure out how I broke the About page.. L,T pages, scale the a-archive, cross-browser compatability.
• 11/01/2006, 1:49am — self-registration is a Go. main archive pages are quite useable. links page in basic form. a few other hundred things also got done, but quite honestly I’m kind of not thinking so usefully at the moment.…
