Josh Ritter on NPR: Talk of the Nation

I’ve not really been remembering my dreams when I wake, but I’ve been having pretty realistic dreams, in line with —but not equal to— my current reality.

I remember them only at various points in the day when something reminds me that there was an alternate reality in my dream that would have made a current real scene different/untrue. And then, I can’t be sure the dream was from the immediately preceding night; it could well be from a night over the weekend or last week.

So.. I now have a fully working and competent (some offense to Dani) computer. All files and settings not yet transferred, but very up and running. I promised myself and others that I’d one day tackle Linux, and that it would probably be once I finally got a desktop.

Orders placed at Newegg and TigerDirect. And just ordered the final item from DigitalHotBuy (would’ve been from ZipZoomFly but I’ve been waiting for my password for which I requested retrieval over two hours ago).

Parts should all be present and ready for assembly by Friday at the very latest.
