Sleeping between 8-11:30am “at night” and odd hours the night before really doesn’t make for a happy, clear head..
So I’m taxing myself out a bit much.. and find that I’ll need to tax almost a bit more this weekend.
I had cream of mushroom soup today. That was good…though not quite as good as I remember as a child.

… a few other hundred things also got done, but quite honestly I’m kind of not thinking so usefully at the moment.. won’t make it to 4am again tonight.. I think that’s okay though… should be good to go for tomorrow…. thank goodness for really helpful people, and thank goodness for really good people in general…. even if they unnecessarily freak out or otherwise seemingly keep out of place, they make the world a better place, and I am so glad for them.
My hair is doing this incredibly awesome curl thing right now.
Having just gotten out of bed and looked in the mirror, there is a an especially interesting lock of my hair that’s doing an incredibly awesome curl across the left (my left) side of my forehead and down. It’s the most awesome curl ever. It couldn’t be more awesome if it tried.
I thought about taking a picture of it (it is that cool) but I’m going to eat buttered toast instead.

I visited the National Arboretum today.. The photo taken there… it’s a lot of things. it’s proof. it’s contrast. it’s truth. it’s .. cover. It’s me.
What a beautiful beautiful day.
The sun’s bright but there are light clouds… A consistent coolness and breeze, but in the sun’s rays the warmth is so nice..
Went for a great walk.. passed geese, beavers, may types of crazy-looking caterpillars, and a pair of garter snakes.. Found some nightshade too, maybe.. Sat in the grass and let the sun stream on my back through the fabric of the shirt for a while.
Went for a short bike ride.. I’ve not been on a bike in several years.
It’s definitely socks weather (cold feet in the morning).
aaaaaaaaaand my hair is straight today. and extra soft.
aaaaaand looks like another pretty day ahead.
aaaaaaaaaaaand it took a long time to fall asleep last night, though/partly cuz I tried going to bed many hours earlier than this past week.
aaaaaaaaand I really want some bacon and eggs right now..
