So a slight drizzle toward the eve of this beautiful day decided to bring a fleeting rainbow over the lake outside our house..
Just enough time to snap a photo with the poor-poor resolution cellphone camera, and one with the decent lumix..

What a beautiful beautiful day.
The sun’s bright but there are light clouds… A consistent coolness and breeze, but in the sun’s rays the warmth is so nice..
Went for a great walk.. passed geese, beavers, may types of crazy-looking caterpillars, and a pair of garter snakes.. Found some nightshade too, maybe.. Sat in the grass and let the sun stream on my back through the fabric of the shirt for a while.
Went for a short bike ride.. I’ve not been on a bike in several years.

The last comment I received to this site was back in the very beginning of August.
I thought no one loved me anymore.
Turns out that my comment form has been completely broken.
A plugin (low_discuss) broke [intel and assistance via Amit ] at Textpattern revision 4.0.3, and… well.. I just never paid enough attention.
Problem is fixed as of now. Now I guess we’ll see if the lack of comments was due to the comments form being broken or whether no one notices either way ;)
*update: Okay, so I was totally wrong… It WASN’T working yet… NOW (as of 11:40-friggin-pm) it IS working.

It’s definitely socks weather (cold feet in the morning).

aaaaaaaaaaaand it took a long time to fall asleep last night, though/partly cuz I tried going to bed many hours earlier than this past week.
aaaaaaaaand I really want some bacon and eggs right now..
